Breaking: Bank of Canada cuts key policy rate by 50 basis points to 0.25%
Bank of Canada lowered key policy rate from 0.75% to 0.25% on Friday. The central bank intends to provide support to the financial system and the economy during coronavirus pandemic. BOC says Governing Council stands ready to take further action if required.
